Dr. Sasha Tahiliani, ND is a naturopathic doctor and hypnotherapist with over 10+ years of experience helping clients optimize wellness and overcome stress and stress-related symptoms with mindfulness hypnotherapy and mind-body medicine.
Mindfulness hypnotherapy combines western hypnotherapy techniques with eastern mindfulness practices including deep relaxation, mindfulness meditation and guided visualization to optimize resilience, awareness and overall well-being.

We offer Mindfulness Hypnotherapy in private homes, residences, workplaces and wellness clinics in the Toronto and surrounding area. Our services are performed by a naturopathic doctor and thus ARE COVERED by most employee benefit plans.
We offer free consultations to answer all your questions. Sessions are also fully confidential and you are in full control. We facilitate each session based on your concerns and we help you decide what to focus on during each treatment session.
Best results are seen with continuous treatment, so we offer 45 and 75-min sessions and encourage on-going treatment as needed. Simply invite us to your home or workplace, or call for an appointment at one of our partnering wellness clinics.
Before beginning treatment, we will answer all of your questions and deal with any fears or reservations you have about the therapeutic process. Treatments are done either sitting or lying with your eyes closed and we begin by guiding you through various physical and mental relaxation exercises before using your imagination to tap into subconscious thoughts, feelings, sensations, images, beliefs, or memories at the root of your concerns.
Hypnosis is simply a state of directed concentration in which you focus on what is going on inside you rather than around you. It is the space we are in between being awake and asleep, when we are absorbed in a good book or movie, or when we drive and forget parts of the trip because we were lost in our imagination. Hypnotherapy is simply the process of using your imagination in a directed way, and it is a skill that everyone has and can improve.
Most people remember what happens during their sessions. If you compare the experience to that of dreaming, some people remember their dreams vividly while other tend to forget them once they are back to waking consciousness, or are able to peice them together with some time to reflect. Having said that, we do keep detailed notes of your sessions and can make them available if you have trouble remembering the details of your experience.
